UI/UX design & WordPress development of a website for a Montessori school network

About Learn&Dream
Learn&Dream is a private Montessori school and kindergarten network with locations in Kremenchuk and Poltava β running everything from early kindergarten through lyceum, plus language and sports programs and an online shop for educational materials.
Challenge
The client came to GRND simply wanting a website. Through discovery, it became clear the real constraint wasn't design β it was that the client's team had no in-house developer and needed to be able to add pages, update programs and manage content themselves going forward. On top of that, enquiries needed to land somewhere the team would actually see them fast, and the site had to work as well on a phone as on a desktop.
What GRND delivered
Wireframes and full UI design for both desktop and mobile, a WordPress build on a custom theme with client-editable content blocks so the client's own team can add and edit pages without a developer, a custom enquiry form wired to send submissions straight to the client's Telegram, and a site structure that handles two school locations and multiple programs (schools, kindergartens, shop, sports, events) without turning into a maze.
Tech stack
A site the client can run without a developer
Once it was clear there was no in-house developer, the whole build was scoped around that: a custom WordPress theme with content fields wired directly into the templates via ACF Pro, so the client's team can add a new program page, update a school's details, or launch a seasonal promo themselves through the WordPress admin β without a drag-and-drop builder to fight with, and without needing to call anyone.
Leads that land where the team already works
A contact form that just emails somewhere often means enquiries sit unread. GRND built the enquiry form to send new submissions directly into the client's Telegram β the place their team actually checks day to day β so a parent asking about enrolment doesn't wait on someone remembering to check an inbox.

One structure, two cities
Learn&Dream runs schools and kindergartens in both Kremenchuk and Poltava, each with its own address, licensing details and programs. The site handles this with a simple city switcher rather than duplicating the whole structure per location β one clear pattern that scales if a third city is added later.
One site, several audiences
Beyond the homepage, the shop, the school and the kindergarten each needed to speak to a different visitor with a different concern β a parent comparing schools reads differently from someone shopping for Montessori materials. Each got its own landing page and hero built on the same underlying system.

Our work process
Discovery
The brief started as "we need a website." Discovery surfaced the real requirement β no in-house developer, so the platform choice itself had to solve for long-term self-management, not just launch day.
Wireframing
Wireframed the core pages β home, schools, kindergartens, shop β for both desktop and mobile before any visual design started.
UI design
Designed the full visual system around the brand's existing character (the panda mascot, the soft palette) across every core page, for desktop and mobile.
Development
Built the site in WordPress on a custom theme with ACF Proβdriven content blocks, implemented the multi-location structure for two cities, and wired the enquiry form to the client's Telegram.
Release & handoff
Launched the site and handed over a structure the client's own team now manages day-to-day β adding pages and updating content without needing a developer.
Outcome
Learn&Dream is live at learndream.ua, running across both cities with the client managing content independently. The relationship didn't stop at launch β once the site was live, the client came back to GRND for a follow-up SEO project, which is its own case study.
Built for the team, not just for launch day
GRND delivered wireframes, full UI and a WordPress build the client's own team can run without a developer β plus a lead form that puts new enquiries in front of staff on Telegram instead of an inbox nobody checks. The result is a site that keeps working for a small business long after the handoff, not one that needs GRND back every time a page needs updating.
